You Can’t Cancel “Church” | Life Church Calvert COVID-19 Update

Due to the precautions and executive orders issued, all gatherings of more than 250 people must be canceled until the state of emergency is over. Because Life Church services are greater than 250 we cannot change our venue and hold in-person service at this time. However, there are things we can do.

For the next two Sundays, (3/15 and 3/22) we will be holding service online via live-streaming on YouTube. Service will begin at 10:30 a.m. and will include an acoustic worship set, prayer, and the word. You can find the service on our YouTube channel. A direct link to the live-stream will be sent in the morning, but in the meantime, head over to YouTube, subscribe to our channel and hit the “bell” icon to get notified when we go live or when a message is posted.

We are not canceling “Church”. Church is not a Sunday morning service or an event. Church is certainly not a facility. We are the Church, therefore Church can’t be canceled.

President Trump has called for a National Day of Prayer this Sunday, March 15. We would like you to join with your fellow Americans in prayer for our leaders, communities, and those that are responding. Pray for the healing of those affected by COVID-19 and for God’s protection. Pray that those that are dealing with stress and anxiety will look to God as their only source of peace. He is our anchor in every storm. Pray also for opportunities to serve and minister. We are called to be the hands and feet of Jesus!
