A message from the Pastor
If you are looking for the perfect church, you will never find it. There are no perfect churches because there are no perfect people. But, if you are looking for imperfect people, longing to walk in a relationship with God and genuine community with one another, we may just be the place for you. Life Church is a Christ-exalting people from all different walks of life, where people are loved, and a biblically-based worldview is embraced. We are a place where ministry within our community is a priority, and caring for others beyond our borders is our commission. Life Church's mission is to love God, love people, and make disciples of Jesus Christ.

What to Expect on a Sunday Morning
Let’s face it, there are enough obstacles in life to keep people away from a relationship with Jesus: distractions, excuses, and issues of all sorts. We don’t think “churchiness” should get in the way. So, come as you are. Enjoy a cup of coffee, make new friends, and be challenged to grow in your relationship with Christ.
At Life Church, you can expect to meet real people from all walks of life in a warm and inviting environment. You will experience authentic worship and relevant teaching. You will not be pressured to give money or put on the spot as a “visitor” because, frankly, you are a guest who we hope one day will consider Life Church home.
What times does your church service start?
We begin our worship services at 8:00 AM, 9:45 AM, and 11:30 AM on Sunday mornings. Our worship service lasts approximately 25-30 minutes, followed by a 30-40 minute teaching from one of our Pastors.
Is there a “dress” code?
No, just come as you are. Though some modesty and a little bit of cleanliness might be appreciated by those who sit around you.
Where do I park?
We have an excellent parking team to help get people into any available parking spot. Everyone is welcome to drop off passengers at the entrance before parking. Our volunteers park in the grass to help free up parking spots, but you are free to park there, too; just be mindful of people and cars around you. Safety first!
What can I expect when I arrive at Life Church?
Upon arriving you will receive a warm hello from one of our greeters, encouraged to get a cup of coffee (or other beverage) and snack, and take a moment to converse, find a seat, and get ready for an energetic time of worship before diving into the days’ message.
What is the worship music like?
Our worship music is energetic and rich in sound; we cover a wide variety from current modern hits to more traditional sounds from previous years.
What is the service like?
Through a 30-40 minute service, our pastors take you through the Bible and teach not only to those sitting in the congregation but to themselves. Each message is relevant and is taught in a clear manner.
Will I feel obligated to “give” to the church?
Hopefully not! To avoid that feeling of “obligation” we have actually removed the proverbial “passing of the church plate” from our service. For those who call Life Church home, we do have two wooden boxes near the doors of our multi-purpose room where people can drop off their tithes, offerings, and donations. Additionally, giving is offered online and via the Life Church Calvert app in a convenient, safe and secure manner.
What happens after the church service?
After church service, for those who have kids, it’s time to collect them from Life Kids. This is a great time for fellowship; meeting new people or talking with old friends is encouraged. Feel free to speak with a pastor, leader, or anyone else attending.
What is there for my kids?
Within Life Kids, we have kid programs from infant to 5th grade where they will learn about living a God-first life and having fun while doing it! Kids will also have a lot of fun in the process as they sing, play instructive games, and create amazing crafts. Finally, you can expect that your child will be safe due to our incredible safety and volunteer teams. For parents who have little ones who want to do something else during worship, we have volunteers to keep them entertained while you enjoy worship.
