Life Teens
Life Church Calvert's mission is to Love God, Love People, and Make Disciples of Jesus Christ. This is the driving force behind all ministries at Life Church—Life Teens included. Our goal is to see our teens fall in love with Jesus and strive to live for Him only. We want to encourage our youth to continue growing in their faith and relationship with the Lord. To inspire, excite, and ignite their hearts for Jesus; make them actively love people in all aspects of their lives, and disciple them so they can disciple others - this generation could be the next generation of DANIELS (The Book of Daniel)! Life Teens meets on Sunday nights from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM.
Teens Living for Christ
Life Teens is a place for acceptance and unconditional love. It encourages our youth to develop a genuine relationship with Jesus Christ. It is also a place where youth may increase their circle of friends by meeting other teens from our and surrounding churches. Some goals of the youth group ministry also include relating biblical alternatives for dealing with the many issues facing teens today and providing opportunities to serve within the church and our community.
Our teens participate in every aspect of Life Church ministry. They are members of the production and worship teams, helpers in Life Kids, and a vital part of every service, special event, community outreach, or ministry opportunity we do. The youth are not the “church of tomorrow” but rather an essential part of the “church of today!”
