Life Church has recently partnered with Farming 4 Hunger in a new way. As you know, Farming 4 Hunger provides fresh grown produce for the benefit of the region’s needy throughout Southern Maryland, Baltimore, and D.C.. This summer we have helped harvest thousands of pounds of food and will continue this through the fall. This week we are excited to announce that we began providing the volunteers and inmates who work the farm during the week with a home cooked meal one day a week. Not only is lunch provided, but it’s an opportunity for our own volunteers to fellowship with the inmates as the prepare to reenter society from the Southern Maryland Pre-Release Unit and be the hands and feet of Jesus to these men.
