Christmas Eve Service 2018 at 5:30 PM

The Christmas season is upon us once more. Yet in the midst of all the busy-ness, have you taken the time to stand in awe of what it’s truly about? Christmas should be a wonderful and joyous time of year, because heaven touched earth when the Word became flesh! Centuries before the first Christmas, the Prophet Isaiah looked forward to the One coming who would bring hope, deliverance, and peace. This is the real story of Christmas: God Himself became flesh, coming to us where we are and as we are and provided the way for our deliverance and salvation. For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.– Isaiah 9:6 NIV Of all the OT prophets, Isaiah reveals the most comprehensive and most wondrous picture of the promised Messiah, foretelling the birth, ministry, sacrificial death and bodily resurrection of Jesus hundreds of years in advance. Why is this important? Because it shows us that each of these historical events did not just happen, far from it. The birth, life and ministry of Jesus Christ was in accordance with the revealed purpose, plan, and will of God.

Join us as we celebrate Christ this Christmas Eve at Plum Point Elementary, 5:30 pm.
